Simmered Tofu

Here's a vegetarian version of my Grandpa's Simmered Chicken Wings. It's very yummy, and it doesn't take too long to make either. I recommend serving this dish with rice, but it can be eaten plain too.

  1. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove tofu and onion to serving dish.
  3. Add a mixture of 2 TBSP cornstarch dissolved in 1 TBSP cold water to sauce, stirring constantly until thickened.
  4. Pour over tofu and serve.
